We were appointed to provide commercial support across the full pre-contract phase. Our role spanned initial budget estimating, detailed cost planning through design development, and the production of a final detailed cost plan — providing the client with the cost evidence to support a major capital investment.

Preparing a final detailed cost plan and advising on the overall project budget — providing the cost evidence base for a major capital investment decision.

Bastion Mike Ramp — Rotary Wing Ramp Construction

The construction of a 170,000m² rotary wing ramp, complete with associated infrastructure and associated buildings, alongside the production of a 3-point estimate to support project decision-making at Camp Bastion.
We were appointed to provide commercial support at the budget stage. Our role focused on producing an initial budget estimate, a 3-point estimate to capture cost risk, and advising on the overall project budget for a major Defence infrastructure scheme.

The provision of various contract documentation for projects in the Middle East — engaging contractors for planned and reactive maintenance works. Alongside this, the production of a costing database to assist in the production of Project Rough Order of Costs, modifications to the Risk Register and 3-point estimating template (with guideline documentation) to assist with identifying the semi-quantitative value of risk within Theatre projects, and the manufacture of a whole life cost and construction feasibility template for the comparison of various building levels within Theatre — supporting project business cases.
