The provision of the demolition, strip out, builders work and M&E services relating to the refurbishment of the existing UKBA holding area, officer's station and WC. The works also included the transformation of an existing store room into a second holding area. UKBA (United Kingdom Border Agency) facilities require specific operational standards and configurations.
This project involved comprehensive refurbishment of existing UKBA holding facilities, including demolition of non-structural elements, installation of new holding room infrastructure, and transformation of adjacent space into additional holding capacity. The work required careful coordination with airport security and UKBA operations to maintain facility availability throughout works.
