S106 Sound Insulation Scheme
Project Management, Cost Control, Quantity Surveying
Project overview
Multi-stakeholder coordination
ensuring regulatory compliance.
To Coordinate, drive and manage the process and its associated specialist contractors and consultants in order to facilitate London City Airports Sound Insulation Scheme obligations under the Section 106 agreement. Section 106 obligations require the airport to provide sound insulation to nearby residential and sensitive properties to mitigate the impact of aircraft noise.
This project involved coordination and management of a comprehensive sound insulation programme across multiple properties in the surrounding area, ensuring compliance with S106 obligations whilst maintaining cost control and programme delivery. The work required liaison with property owners, installers and local authorities. Quant Measur managed the commercial and cost aspects of this complex multi-stakeholder programme.
