Delivery of two Fixed Electrical Ground Power (FEGP) stands providing aircraft with shore-based electrical power during ground operations, eliminating the need for on-board generators and reducing emissions and noise. This complex project involved locating stands within a dry dock facility, requiring detailed structural analysis and close liaison with maritime and aviation regulators.
Environmental risk mitigation was paramount, given the aquatic location. The project required alignment with the dock lowering schedule — a critical operational constraint that demanded careful sequencing and close coordination with dock operations.
