Project overview
Two-contract setup for lift and escalator maintenance.
Provision of two contracts — firstly engaging a specialist lift and escalator consultant to commence duties and provide a scoping document for use as part of the tender documentation suite, and secondly engaging a specialist contractor for planned and reactive maintenance works.
We were appointed to support the contractual setup of both engagements. Our role focused on advising on the form of contract, preparing the Preliminaries, and supporting the tender documentation needed to engage both the consultant and the contractor.

Advising on the form of contract to be utilised and the proposed amendments to contract conditions across both engagements — the specialist consultant and the maintenance contractor.
Preliminaries
Preparing the Preliminaries document, ensuring the contractual framework reflected the structure of the two-contract arrangement.
Tender Documentation
Assisting in collating and issuing the tender documentation based on the designer's drawings and specifications — supporting clean engagement of both parties.
