Pre-contract cost development on a runway overlay scheme.
Overlay of the runway pavement with bituminous materials to provide strengthening and restoration of runway residual life, and to address observed loss in surface friction — accommodating the introduction of heavier aircraft. A strategically significant pavement intervention.
We were appointed to provide commercial support during the pre-contract phase. Our role focused on establishing the cost case for the overlay and managing the budget through design development.

Preparing a final detailed cost plan and advising on the project budget — providing cost evidence to support commitment to a strategic runway investment.
