Pre-contract cost development on a structural protection scheme.
A full study to investigate the dry dock deck structure abeam Gates 1–6, identifying cracks penetrating more than 5mm and the works needed to protect the reinforcing steel from corrosion through water penetration.
We were appointed to provide commercial support during the pre-contract phase. Our role focused on establishing the cost case for a structural protection scheme and managing the budget as the precise scope was refined through investigation.
