Project overview
Full post-contract delivery of a multi-element apron-side build.
Provision of a modular Gate Lounge constructed on the reinforced concrete suspended deck in the King George V dock; a Circulation Core built between the Gate Lounge and the Link Bridge on the same deck; and the Link Bridge itself, constructed between the Circulation Core and the existing terminal departure lounge at first floor level. A coordinated multi-element scheme connecting new apron-side facilities to the existing terminal.
We were appointed to provide full post-contract commercial support. Our role spanned contract administration, interim valuation, monthly financial reporting, cash flow updates, variations management, and final account agreement — providing the client with a complete commercial picture across a logistically complex delivery.

Our role
Key responsibilities across the project.
Contract Administration
Attending site and progress meetings as required, agreeing interim payments with the contractor in line with the building contract, and notifying both client and contractor through issue of certificates.
Monthly Financial Reporting
Preparing monthly financial reports commenting on possible variations, problems or discrepancies that could affect the final account, alongside any potential extensions to the contract completion date.
Cash Flow Updates
Issuing monthly cash flow updates to the client — providing the financial planning evidence needed to manage commitment against budget through the delivery period.
Variations Management
Agreeing the value of any variations and changes with the contractor, ensuring contractual scope movement was managed cleanly.
Final Account Agreement
Agreeing the final account with the contractor and issuing the corresponding documentation to the client — providing a defensible commercial close-out.
