Project overview
Commercial support for a major security and concessions reconfiguration.
The strip-out of retail outlets, support offices and ancillary rooms; partial infill of the atrium; installation of security lane equipment; fit-out of offices and staff welfare facilities; expansion of the airside lounge; provision of a new public staircase; provision of shell and core specification for concessions; reconfiguration of the concourse to accommodate first floor works; provision of airline ticket desks and associated space; and the upgrade and reconfiguration of mechanical and electrical plant to suit the new layout.
We were appointed to provide commercial support across delivery. Our role focused on disciplined post-contract control of a major multi-element terminal reconfiguration spanning security, concessions, ticketing, and welfare facilities.

Contract Administration
Attending site and progress meetings as required across the multi-element scope, agreeing interim payments with the contractor in line with the contract, and issuing the corresponding certificates.
Interim Valuations & Certification
Agreeing the value of interim payments with the contractor and notifying both client and contractor through issue of certificates — maintaining a clean commercial record across a complex scope.
Monthly Cost Reporting
Preparing written monthly assessments of progress, including anticipated final cost of the works, providing the client with consistent visibility across the various reconfiguration elements.
