Project overview
Commercial support for a critical IT resilience installation.
The installation of data ducts to provide infrastructure resilience, including the provision of a modular building to house IT hardware and software. A critical resilience installation supporting business continuity in the event of failure or disruption to existing IT infrastructure.
We were appointed to provide commercial support through to final account. Our role focused on the full post-contract phase — including variations management and final account agreement — on a project where reliability and clean close-out were both essential.

Key responsibilities across the project.
Contract Administration
Attending site and progress meetings as required, agreeing interim payments with the contractor in line with the building contract, and issuing the corresponding certificates.
Variations Management
Agreeing the value of any variations and changes with the contractor, ensuring scope movement was captured cleanly and contractually correctly.
Final Account Agreement
Agreeing the final account with the contractor and issuing the corresponding documentation to the client, providing a clean contractual close-out.
