Project overview
Commercial support for a major capacity-upgrade to a treatment works.
Infrastructure improvement works to a sewage treatment site to enable it to treat 60 per cent more sewage than the existing facility during heavy rainfall and storm flow conditions. A significant capacity upgrade addressing wet-weather resilience.
We were appointed to provide commercial support across delivery. Our role focused on disciplined contract administration and cost reporting on a wastewater capacity upgrade with clear operational and regulatory drivers.

Key responsibilities across the project.
Contract Administration
Attending site and progress meetings as required, agreeing interim payments with the contractor in line with the contract, and issuing the corresponding certificates.
Interim Valuations & Certification
Agreeing the value of interim payments with the contractor and notifying both client and contractor through issue of certificates.
Monthly Cost Reporting
Preparing written monthly assessments of progress, including anticipated final cost of the works — providing the client with consistent visibility through delivery.
