Provision of Quantity Surveying services for the defence division of consultancy for the client DIO.
Duties include the provision of order of cost estimates, cost plans, tender reports and cost appraisals on various RAF and Army defence projects in the UK.
Detainee Facility
The construction of a traditional build structure with modular units.
We attended site / progress meetings as required, agreed with the Contractor the value of interim payments in accordance with the contract and notified the Client and Contractor accordingly by issue of the corresponding certificates, assisted in the preparation of written monthly assessments of the progress of the works for consideration by the Client, including the anticipated final cost of the works.
New Headquarters
The construction of a number of Steel Frame and Clad Dutch Barn storage areas, Single storey pre cast concrete HQ building.

We provided an initial budget estimate and advise on the project budget.
Defence Estates Various Contracts
Provision of various documentation for project in the middle east, through firstly engaging contractors, in relation to planned and reactive maintenance works
Production of a costing database to assist in the production of Project Rough Order of Costs, modification of the Risk Register and 3-point estimating template, complete with guideline documentation, to assist with identifying the semi quantitative value of risk within Theatre projects, and the manufacture of a whole life costs and construction feasibility template for the comparison of the various levels of building within Theatre, to support project business cases.
